Fabrics, Fabric Tapes, Cords and Packing Materials
In many areas of industry, both fine detail insulation and large area insulation in high temperature areas can be provided using fabrics and tapes.
Cords are used to seal and insulate chimney doors and pipes, boilers and expandable joints, as cable wrappings and to “caulk” gas lines. Hoses serve to provide thermally protective insulation for cables and wires in high-temperature areas.
Oven sealing cords seal and insulate ovens, boilers and chimney doors.
Dry packings serve to seal and insulate doors on ovens, boilers and chimneys, portholes and tunnel kilns.
